Ryan Gianelloni, 2010 graduate of the University of New Orleans BFA program, utilizes both natural and found objects to bring texture and depth to otherwise flat surfaces. Often, these objects are inclusive of bamboo, string, and other collected materials. He then finishes the work experimenting with metallic leaf. Gianelloni’s work will be on view April 24 – May 2 at the annual Artfields event in Lake City, SC.
