Created in reflection on the upcoming 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Singing Bowls, Healing Sounds…Still Healing explores the long and often quiet process of healing. Forged brass and stainless steel bowls hang from crimson jute, gently swaying and sounding soft, meditative tones.
The red rope symbolizes memory and lifeblood —what connects us, what stays with us. The brass singing bowls connects to ancient sound healing practices. This installation invites stillness and reflection—a reminder that healing isn’t a fixed moment, but something that continues over time.
