Above sculpture “Structures” by Kyra Hodes is a studio artist currently living and working in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hodes received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Loyola University in 2016. Since then she has completed a one year sculpture residency with the Loyola University Department of Art, YEAR, and has exhibited in shows around the city including Lightwaves, a group exhibition sponsored by the Arts Council of New Orleans; States of Existence, a juried exhibition at Parse Gallery, and Antheia, a group show at Annunciation Hall. A recent shift has lead her down the path of silversmithing, creating fine jewelry.
